I believe life is a design process, continuously shaped by personal experiences. As we grow, we create our lives through learning and contributions, crafting a story rooted in our self-perceptions, and the impact of our belief systems and actions. Ultimately, it's the journey—how we share our experiences and how others receive them—that defines our lasting influence.

In my young adulthood, I spent a lot of time being anxious. It wasn’t obvious, but I struggled to make meaningful connections and constantly sought external validation, never truly feeling satisfied.

I focused more on what I could gain rather than on how I could show up as a positive and supportive person.

In my career, I felt restless and engaged in work flows that didn’t deeply resonate with me. I craved more focus and productivity but struggled with clarity, confidence, a sense of purpose, and the tools to transform my ideas into tangible results.

When my choices and outcomes didn't reflect my true desires, I became overwhelmed with the sense there was more out there for me.

I spent a good part of my early adulthood anxious. On the outside, you might not have seen it but on the inside, I lacked a meaningful connection to myself, always searching for external validation. I was never satisfied.

With my community, I wondered what was in it for me rather than thinking about how I could show up as a supportive and positive friend.

In my career I felt restless, working for something I wasn’t truly connected to. I wanted to create from a more meaningful and productive space but lacked confidence, a clear sense of my purpose, and the tools for how to get somewhere.

Even more, my decisions were rarely aligned with what I really desired deep down. I knew there was more, and I wanted access to it.

After hitting a breaking point, I spent the next 15 (15!) years cultivating a path for who I wanted to become - a combination of many things. I made myself a top priority.

Looking back, I wish there would have been a program like the Design Mind Project when I didn't know where to turn. That deficit led me to bring a culmination of experiences and people together in one place. A place for people who believe there is something more, something deeper on the other side of whatever you are going through.

And the cycle continued. After reaching a breaking point, I dedicated the next 10 years to carving a path toward the person I aspired to become—a blend of many facets. This journey involved crafting a new story, reconnecting with my roots, envisioning a more empowering future while building a fulfilling vision, and putting structures in place to bring my ideas to life.

This journey led me to design and build Design Mind—a program created to guide others in discovering their path to personal fulfillment and sustainable contribution.

Thank you for being here!
